On these pages I publish some of my software projects I’m working on. The monitoring plugins can be used with the most common tools (such as Nagios, Icinga, Shinken, etc..)..
If you have any requests or suggestions, please use the contact form or read the Instructions according the projects readme file.
PriSupMon – Printer Supply Monitoring
The main idea of this tool is that you don’t have to care about supply-material for your network-printers.
The tool collects data of your printers using SNMP and write it into the database. If a threshold is below the configured value it will send an email to a specified address (i.e. your consumables supplier).
This plugin monitors single supply from your HP-printer via SNMP and provides performance data.
This plugin checks the hardware from Brocade FC switches using SNMP and provides performance data.
This plugin reads information from HP, Ricoh, and Intermec printers using and provides performance data.
Use this plugin to query any performance counter from your Windows-Machine (with performance output). You need check_nt on the monitoring host and NSClient or NC-Net Client on the Windows host installed.
A feature that I missed in Nagios is the possibility to define recurring offline-time of hosts and services.
sendsms.pl & receivesms.pl
Scripts to send Nagios-Events via SMS and acknowledge the events with an SMS-message. You need gammu-smsd installed.
